Rule of Thirds, Brooklyn

Jess and Jill planned their Rule of Thirds wedding with one goal: Keep it wholly intentional.

From our first meeting, they made it very clear, they weren’t going to do anything that didn’t bring value to their day. That stuck with me, as it perfectly summed up the kind of thoughtful, intentional couples I work best with. So when they told me they wanted to hire me for their wedding, I took it as a huge compliment. A perfect fit.

This ethos permeated every decision and gave additional weight to every detail. Because nothing happened "just cause" or for the sole sake of tradition. Everything was chosen. From the venue, to their guest list, to their desire for film photography.

As a photographer, this wedding had everything. A gorgeous space, plenty of light, beautiful florals, stylish fits, candlelight, a disco ball, and not to mention a damn good vendor meal. After dinner and speeches, none other than RuPaul's own Thorgy Thor burst through the curtains and surprised all of Jess and Jill's guests with a performance. After leading them to the dance floor, Jess and Jill's close friend DJ'd, who kept everyone moving all night under the gorgeous disco ball.

I stayed until the very end, and until I shot through my very last roll of film. I'm eternally proud to be chosen be chosen to document such an evening.

Working with Danny as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made!

From the first time we met with him, it was clear how much thought and care he puts into his work. He really took the time to get to know us as a couple, and that connection made all the difference on our wedding day. Danny didn’t just capture moments, he captured the feeling and energy of the entire day—our joy, our love, and even the wild fun of the party (drag queens inc.)

Both the digital and film photos are absolutely stunning, and they truly reflect how special the day was. We’re beyond happy with the photos, but more than that, we’re grateful for the kindness and warmth Danny brought into the experience. It’s rare to find someone so talented, yet so down-to-earth. His photos will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re lucky to have gained a friend along the way. Thank you Danny ❤️✨🫶🏻
